What we can help with

Digital services for your next project.

A new website, clearer content or a learning resource: tell us what you need to create or improve. We agree the work, price and responsibilities before starting.

01

Websites & web support

Business websites, landing pages and content updates that make information clear and the next step easy to find.

Agree the pages, features, content and checks before the build.

Typical deliverables

  • The agreed pages or updates, laid out for phone and desktop screens.
  • Navigation, labelled controls and the agreed interactions.
  • Project files and a short guide to updates and known dependencies.
Responsibilities, review and handover
What we need from you
You supply or approve the copy, images, business facts and any account access. We agree who handles the domain, hosting and ongoing updates.
Separate agreement
Domain purchases, hosting charges, ongoing maintenance, payment systems and other integrations require a separate agreement.
Review
Review the first version, then the agreed revision rounds. Check links, forms, screen layouts, keyboard use and the agreed accessibility requirements; record any limits.
Handover
Receive the agreed site files and guidance. Any launch, hosting transfer or continuing support is confirmed separately.
Prepare a website brief

  • Clear headings, useful labels and a consistent tone.
  • Notes on facts or claims that still need your approval.
Responsibilities, review and handover

Separate agreement
Specialist legal or medical advice, translation, original interviews and ongoing content management require a separately assessed brief.
Review

Handover
Receive the approved text in the agreed editable format, with outstanding factual questions clearly recorded.
Prepare a content brief

Agree the learning goal, audience, reading level and subject review.

Typical deliverables

  • The agreed worksheet, presentation or browser-based activity.
  • Instructions and answers or teaching notes where the brief requires them.
  • Editable and print or digital files in the agreed formats.
Responsibilities, review and handover
What we need from you

Separate agreement
Accredited courses, qualification assessment, learner-account systems and learning-platform integrations need separate assessment.
Review
Check instructions, answers, reading level and the agreed interactions. Include teacher or subject-review feedback within the agreed revision rounds.

  • Setup and use instructions, including required permissions and dependencies.
  • Test notes and a documented manual fallback or recovery route.
Responsibilities, review and handover
What we need from you
You describe the current task, provide authorised access and approve the data-handling rules. Test with suitable sample data before use on live work.
Separate agreement
Paid tools, production account access, ongoing monitoring and complex or high-risk integrations require a separate agreement.
Review
Check the agreed normal and failure cases using safe sample data. Confirm human review, errors and recovery before any live activation.

Work you can inspect

A writing sample. A data sample.

Two small, self-initiated examples show how we simplify writing and check a dataset. The brief and records are fictional. Neither sample was commissioned by a client.

Copywriting and editing

Keep the facts. Make them easier to read.

The fictional brief: rewrite a community learning room notice in plain English, keeping its days, times and visitor requirements.

Before

The facilitation of attendance at the community learning room is undertaken on Mondays and Wednesdays during the period of 6pm to 8pm. Prior booking is a requirement for attendance. Attendees are required to provide their own laptop.

After

The community learning room is open on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 6pm to 8pm. Book before you attend and bring your own laptop.

What changed and what stayed

Shorter sentences and direct instructions replace formal wording. These three facts stay unchanged:

  • The room opens on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 6pm to 8pm.
  • Visitors must book before attending.
  • Visitors must bring their own laptop.

No price, booking method, availability or facilities were supplied, so none have been added. A real notice would need its owner’s factual approval.

Research and data

Clean a small dataset. Show the method.

A synthetic CSV contains invented service-request references and categories. There are no names, contact details or real enquiries.

Method and cleaned records
  1. Check the two CSV columns and each sample reference.
  2. Trim spaces and standardise capitalisation: 5 unique, non-empty labels change.
  3. Remove 2 repeated references with matching categories. Conflicting categories stop the checker for review.
  4. Keep 1 missing category as Unknown; do not guess it.
  5. Count each category. The counts sum to 10 unique records.

These figures describe only this invented sample. They are not market research, demand estimates or customer results.

Reproduce the output: save both downloads in one folder and run the checker with Python 3. It prints JSON, uses only the standard library, makes no network requests and writes no files.

Six original demonstration websites.

The six fictional demonstrations show design and local interaction concepts. They are not client work, government-contract experience, references or evidence of actual delivery outcomes.

A clear route from brief to handover.

  1. Scope

Agree users, outputs and acceptance criteria.

  2. Create

Produce the draft, content or working build.

  3. QA

Check facts, function and accessibility basics.

  4. Review

Collect feedback and manage agreed revisions.

  5. Handover

Provide final files and agreed guidance.

Accessibility fundamentals inform QA. No verified WCAG conformance or certification is claimed.

Prepare a project enquiry draft.

This statement does not collect enquiries, make service commitments or establish supplier credentials. The form prepares an editable draft. Choose Send enquiry to submit it through Formspree for delivery to HODRA’s enquiry inbox, or use Open email to review and send it from your own mail app. You can also copy or download the draft. Preparing a draft does not send it.

From a defined brief to a considered handover, with visible review points along the way.

Define the useful outcome

Agree the users, outputs, scope and acceptance criteria.

Create & check

Produce the draft or build, then review facts, function and accessibility fundamentals.

Review & refine

Collect feedback and manage agreed revisions with scope changes recorded.

Handover with clarity

Complete final checks and provide the agreed files and guidance.

Start with a clear scope.
